EYFS: Creating and Filtering Tags (Admin User Only)
Learning Ladders is a whole school improvement tool. For this reason, particular features have been designed to support senior leaders in roles such as Phase or Subject leadership.
Custom tags enable Phase Leaders to filter observations based on the strengths and areas for improvement identified in their Phase improvement plans. The tags support leaders to monitor the delivery of the four guiding principles that should shape practice in early years settings.
An example of using tags includes a phase leader who has identified the outdoor provision as an area of improvement. The Phase Leader may create a custom tag, 'Outdoor provision' and communicate to the team that they would like practitioners to use this tag in observations over a specific time period. Practitioners upload their observations and select the relevant tag. The phase leader is able to filter observation using a particular tag in order to monitor the development of this area.
