EYFS: Editing your Assessment Framework in the Creation Zone

EYFS: Editing your Assessment Framework in the Creation Zone

Learning Ladders give schools choices in how they create their assessment framework. Read more about the choices here.

Whether you have imported your own Ladders or are utilising the non-statutory Development Matters 2021 statements, you will find the Ladders to review in the Creation Zone.

The Creation Zone is a safe place to make changes before pushing them out live for all users.

Only admin users have access to the Creation Zone. Teacher users only have the option to view 'Ladders' once they are published.

We advise teachers to check the Ladders and Rungs (statements) to ensure that it has displayed as intended.

To make changes to existing Ladders:

  • Click on 'View and Edit Ladder'.
  • Click 'Edit Rungs' in the top right-hand corner of the page
  • You can either add new rungs by typing the rung name and pressing the enter key

or
  • You can edit/delete rungs by clicking the pencil or trash can buttons
  • You can edit the year/grade an objective/standard is for
  • You can add a KPI flag to an objective/standard
  • Read about the benefits of adding Notes and Resources to each rung

  • Once you have made all of your changes, click the 'Save Changes' button
  • When you have finished editing the ladder, click 'Close Edit Mode' button in the top right.

Changes will not be visible in your live 'My Ladders' Curriculum until you click on 'Review and Publish Changes'.
