How to Generate the Import file for Student Judgements

How to Generate the Import file for Student Judgements

Schools can import judgements into to Learning Ladders in a simple three step process.
  1. Generate a file for students, time frame and subject to be imported
  2. Add student judgements to file and required
  3. Import file into Learning Ladders
To start the process you need to generate the file that will be used to import the judgements into Learning Ladders.  This file will contain the key information needed to associate the data to the correct pupil, time frame (terms and end of year) and subject.

Alert
Please do not amend any of the data present in the file when you open it as this will cause issues
with the import process!
The section for Historic Judgements is under the 'Settings' tab in the blue menu bar; click settings, then settings again and then select the tab which reads 'Import Judgements'.

Settings> Import Historic Judgements

Once you have clicked the 'Generate CSV' button, you will be prompted to select:
  1. Term (dependent on your set up, regular terms might be: Start of Year, Autumn 1, Autumn 2, Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1 or Summer 2)
    1. More than one can be selected
  2. Academic Year (for the judgements to be associated with)
    1. Judgments can be imported into any academic years but any existing judgements will be overwritten.
  3. Target Group (Class or Year Group)
    1. You can select multiple years or classes by clicking each one you require
  4. Subject

Once you have made selections for each of these areas, you will be able to generate the file and download to your regular download folder.  You now need to populate the file with the relevant judgments
