How to Publish a Ladder

Any changes that you make within the creation zone will need to be published. To do this follow these simple steps.

Click on ‘Ladders’ on the left hand menu
Go to the ‘Creation Zone’

The Creation Zone is where you can make any amendments to your ladders in a 'safe environment' before publishing the changes live to your classes/My Ladders.

Make the changes you need to. (Please see the below articles for guidance)
- Changing the order of the rungs, hold left-click on the ladder and drag/move the rungs into the order you want them to appear (How to Customise your Ladders)
- Creating a new ladder
- Deleting a ladder
- Adding or deleting rungs

Please note: with all of the above once changes have been made please click ‘Save Ladder’, this will save your changes, however, this will not publish the changes to your ‘My Ladders’ and therefore make them available to assess against.

Once you have finished your changes to the ladder click ‘Save Ladder’

Go back to view all your ladders

Note: You now have the option to 'Undo all edits' . This undoes all changes for all the subjects together (can't pick and choose).

Once you're happy with the changes, you can now publish the changes that you have made.

Click 'Go To Page'
Then click ‘Review& Publish Changes’

This will take you to the Review& Publish Changes page where you can see what you have added, amended, reordered or deleted. If any mistakes have been made click back and you can make these changes.

Review the changes you have made to make sure they are ok, then click publish changes.
- Please note you have to publish all changes at the same time

Confirm you want to proceed to publish all changes.

Once the box has been checked the button will change to a green box saying ‘Confirm Action’ click on the box

The changes will be published and you will be redirected to the list of the ladders. You and your teachers can now start assessing against the new ladders, and they are viewable by all users of the system in ‘My Ladders’.
