Managing Settings for Defined Progress Over Time

Senior leaders define the mappings between Attainment judgements and the Defined Progress judgements in the Admin only ‘Settings’ page.

Click on Settings > Settings > Assessment Summary tab. Click on the  'View & Edit' button to the right of 'Defined Progress Over Time'.

Click on 'Edit Mapping' to map your Attainment descriptors. The descriptors will show as 'Not Set' until one is selected.

Click the 'Edit Mapping' button to map your descriptors.  Click on the drop down arrow for each judgement to select your descriptors from the Attainment descriptors available in your Assessment Descriptors.  Once complete, click 'Save'.

Once you've completed the mapping your settings will look like this:

The settings can be edited by an Admin user at any time.  You may wish to use Enhanced User Permissions to allow fewer Admin users to edit Settings.

Note: If you edit the mappings for Defined Progress Over Time, your progress judgements in both current and prior academic year will display using the new mappings.

Once you've completed the mapping, teachers can view Defined Progress Over Time judgements in Assessment Summary > Defined Progress. Learn more about the Defined Progress Reporting.
