Filter reports using student attributes

Filter reports using student attributes

Before you can filter reports using a student attribute you must create the attribute and then edit or add the attribute to the students.

Within Assessment Summary and Insights teachers have the option to filter data by student attributes.

Assessment Summary

Teachers can click on the 'Student Attributes' selector to filter assessment summary reports by default and custom attributes.

A drop down menu allows the teacher to select a default attribute, or custom attribute to display the data required.

Custom attributes must be created in 'settings' for it to appear in the Student Attributes drop down menu in Assessment Summary and Insights.

For free text custom attributes, a consistent response must be used in the settings.

Insights

In the 'Subject Leaders', 'Phase Leaders' or 'Overtime Reports' teachers can use the Student Attribute filter.

To view Student Attributes, click on the plus sign under 'target group' to open the drop down menu.

Once you have selected one, click on the plus sign under 'target group' to open the dropdown menu.

Click on More Attributes to filter the report by attributes.

Currently, you can only use student attributes to 'show' students assigned with the attribute, you are not able to 'hide' these students from a report.
