Viewing the data

At the top you will see a summary of the selections you have made, as well as the number of students considered in the report. If you print off any report this will automatically populate at the top of the Insights report.

There are two other toggles/sectors within the summary data field shown above. They are:
  1. Hide Percentages
  2. Show Progress
1. This toggle activeates the view to display all relevant percentages throughout the report, including the year breakdown charts at the bottom of the report.

2. This toggle displays the progress report for the selections.  To try and make the data more understandable, attainment and progress are displayed separately.

Scrolling down the page you will see a number of bar charts, one group per subject selected. This is shown on the above images.

This report also allows users to display additional, custom attributes on the screen as individual charts.  Custom Attributes can be selected from the 'Additional Attributes' drop down.  Additional 'Custom Attributes' are created by the school, more details on this here.

Once selected, the additional attribute will be displayed as anther pie chart, inline with the others and on each subject.

At the bottom of the report, each subject is displayed with the relevant years (depending on what has been selected) broken down.  You are able to choose which judgments are displayed for each year by selecting or unselecting them from the 'Judgements' dropdown.

How are judgements in Leaders Analsis reports calculated?

Insights runs off the same calculation as Assessment Summary.

Attainment is cumulative over the entire year, progress is just the recorded assessments for the time (half terms) selected.  Within this report, you also have the option to use/dissplay 'Defined Progress Over Time.  Once you have choosen a start academic year and term, then choose 'Defined' fro the Aggregated Progress selection. When you then view 'Progress' this will be based on the Define Progress Over Time settings created by your school adminstrator.

The assessments markers, names and colours will reflect the attainment and progress descriptors in your school's settings.

How to print reports
Click on the three vertical dots in the top right corner of Insights. You will see two options to download a report and Help.
