To ensure the best possible experience when using Learning Ladders, we recommend turning on automatic updates to keep your software up to date. OS and web browser providers regularly release updates including bug fixes and failure to keep your software up to date may affect your experience of Learning Ladders.
Using Learning Ladders with Google Chrome.
Set your default browser to Chrome.
Learning Ladders will work on any web browser and there are many browsers available for schools to use. A common web browser in schools is Internet Explorer as it comes pre-installed on all Windows PCs however, we'd generally recommend using
Google Chrome
so that we are able to continually offer you the best possible experience whilst using Learning Ladders.
Turn on Chrome automatic updates.
Google releases regular updates to Chrome whilst ensure that their browser is kept up to date with the latest web technologies. To ensure that you are working on the most up to date version of Chrome we'd recommend turning on automatic updates.
1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the menu in the top right hand corner of the page.
3. Click 'Settings'.
4. Click 'About' and turn on automatic updates.
Ensure that no security software is blocking Chrome from using Javascript.
If you are using any security plugins which disable the use of Javascript in websites you will need to ensure that these restrictions are lifted. Javascript is a programming language which is used within Learning Ladders.
