How to Use Key Performance Indicators (KPI)


If there are particular rungs which you would like to mark as KPIs for your pupils, you can do this within the Creation Zone and then filter these rungs within Gap Analysis.

How to Mark a Rung as a KPI:
1. Go to "Ladders".
2. Click "Creation Zone".
3. Find the ladder you would like to add KPIs to and click "View and Edit Ladder".



4. Click "Edit Rungs".

5. Find the rung you would like to mark as a KPI and click the pencil icon to edit.

6. Select "Key Performance Indicator" and click "Save all Changes".

7. Click "Save Ladder".
 
You can now either continue marking rungs as KPIs or publish your changes. To publish your changes:

1. Click "Review and Publish Changes" in the top right hand corner of the Creation Zone.
2. Review your changes and click "Publish Changes".
Your KPI rungs can now be filtered within Gap Analysis.

Where to View KPI Rungs

My ladders - KPIs will be shown inline with each relevant objective.
 
Gap Analysis - the icon will show next to each statement that is marked as a KPI. If you click on the statement it will show whether it is a KPI.

Within Gap Analysis, if a Year group has KPI rungs within it a green button in the top right corner will appear which says ‘Filter KPI Rungs’. If you click on this you will be able to see only KPI rungs.

This will only display KPI Rungs.

 KPIs can additionally be accessed through Class Assessment, by going through selecting a class then clicking 'Student Statements'



In the pop-up window which will appear, select the students and subjects you want to observe, then if desired check the box: 'Filter for KPI rungs only' before generating your report.
