How to Create a Custom Subject

Custom subjects allow you to create ladders for specific in school values or learning objectives.

Administrators can create a custom subject by going to:

  • Ladders
  • Creation Zone
  • Go To Page > Manage Subjects

  • Enter the name of your custom subject and hit enter

Once your custom subject has been created, you can begin creating ladders for it!

If you adding a subject to your Learning Ladders site for the very first time, please email support@learningladders.info to let us know what you have done once you have published the new ladders to your site.

Due to the way the curriculum is structured within Learning Ladders, you will find that each class won't have access to the ladder rungs lower than their current year group. This isn't an issue and has been created to work this way, we simply need to change a setting on your site for all classes to see the whole new ladder.
